An OPDS-approved DUII/DRE/SFST Expert, Josh is also LJK Investigations' Training Supervisor, Case Management Coordinator, and Lead Investigator in Marion, Columbia, and Umatilla Counties and greater Oregon.

Josh was born in Portland and raised in Tualatin, Oregon. After graduating from high school, Josh felt that it was his calling to serve his country and enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. Josh was stationed all over the world during his time in the Marines. From San Diego, California all the way to Japan, Australia, and the Middle East, Josh was able to immerse himself in many different cultures. He is an Operation Iraqi Freedom veteran and received an honorable discharge in 2004.

After the military, Josh took his passion for serving others and became a police officer. He worked for the City of Mt. Angel and the City of Woodburn during his nearly 10-year career. While he was a police officer, Josh had a passion for DUII enforcement, and he became a certified Drug Recognition Expert. He worked as a patrol officer and completed investigations that ranged from minor violations up to Measure 11 crimes. His highly productive years as a police officer have given Josh a unique perspective when it comes to performing investigations and serving the criminal justice process.

Josh loves to spend time with his family. He is involved in his community and volunteers his time as a coach for his kids' sports teams. When he’s not coaching or cheering on his kids from the sidelines, he likes to travel and go boating with his family.
