Wendie brings more than two decades of law enforcement experience to LJK Investigations. She started with the Lane County Sheriff’s Office as a central control operator before transferring to 911 and police dispatching for the Cottage Grove Police Department. She has served as a police officer, a domestic violence investigator for the Lane County District Attorney’s Office, and later as an armed security guard in the Portland and Vancouver metro area.

 

A graduate of the University of Oregon, she began a communications career working in the Oregon Sports Information office and freelancing for multiple sports television companies as a talent and graphics coordinator.  

Wendie plays just as hard as she works. She is passionate about health and fitness, having run the Eugene marathon, competed in figure bodybuilding, cycling, and set Oregon records in several powerlifting categories at the 2021 World's un Costa Mesa. She also pursues creative endeavors such as graphic design, 3D printing, engraving, and woodworking.
